Natalie Wayne- Owner of NLW sports rehab
Natalie first got into her profession through and interest in sports that started years ago leading to studying sports science at college level. After excelling in sports massage and therapy on that course she wanted to progress her studies, after in depth research on university degrees Natalie decided to go down the Sports Rehab route rather than Physiotherapy as she wanted to work predominately in a pitch side environment with sporting athletes.
During her time at University, she gained experience working in various environments from semi-Professional rugby to local leagues. Natalie enjoys being pitch side and working alongside rugby teams however, though experience at university also found a love for helping sporting and non-sporting individuals in a clinic setting and worked from the university clinic before starting NLW sports Rehab in summer 2020.
Working from an intern to lead therapist in National one rugby, Natalie has developed an alternative approach to traditional treatment methods and added further skills to her tool belt such as cupping and dry needling as well as increasing her skill set of injury assessment, treatment and rehabilitation through taping and strapping, massage and exercise based rehab..
